Based originally on a combination of the Thai characters for a leaf and egg. The ability to be experimental with surfaces is very liberating, though having been rolled up and hung in multiple locations for the last 25 years, its a bit battered now!

Heavily influenced by Korean artists in the mid 20th Century- some further work using the design shape of the curve (Chung Chang-Sup, Yun Hyong-Keun, Park Seo-Bo,Kim Tschang-Yeul and Lee Ufan)

And slightly more recently - a portrait again back to cardboard for its warm and textured feel. The edges can be playful and sculptural.
