Boston Stump

A collage made from 4 separate photographs of the Boston Stump, with different exposures. The added fun of raindrops falling on the lens, meant I never got the correct exposure to capture the sun shielded by the clouds in the sky. So instead a study of the parish church St Botolph's tower, built circa 1520, manipulated post processing to alter: top right: reduce highlights and shadows and increase saturation to ephasies the soot staining of the stonework; bottom right, very overexposed image, with shadows post processed increased to show the windows leads; Bottom left, very underexposed image to capture the sky, with all highlights removed post processing to get the outline and increase the cloud tonal range.
Its been a while since I have been out with my camera, so need some work on balancing the f-stop with the exposure, especially when having to deal with the weather!
