Night-time

As the days lengthen in the northern hemisphere, I will miss walking in the dark. There is a richness to the dark shades of night, details are lost and instead we just see strong simple structures. I am always looking at different ways to capture this, as by its nature things in the dark are hard to see.
Sometimes you can capture things as the sun is setting, so you can have some contrast in a painting, in a photograph you can increase your exposure and try and show shapes, if not the colour of the night.
